Heng Zuo, Secretary
I'm a second year graduate student in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics and I’m working in MIT Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research. My current research focuses on experiments and numerical analysis of non-contact air-bearing slumping of thin glass mirrors for X-ray Telescopes. Before joining MIT, I studied solid mechanics in Tsinghua University in China. I’m so glad to serve the GWAMIT executive board as the secretary this year. As a student, I've benefited a lot from the programs and events held by GWAMIT. Now I’m sincerely honored to make my effort to help support the professional development, individual growth, and empowerment of the graduate women community at MIT. In my spare time, I enjoy table tennis, badminton, running, swimming, and volleyball. In addition to supporting GWAMIT, I’m an active officer for my grad dorm (Ashdown) and I work for the MIT Chinese Students and Scholars Association.
